DUI charges filed against former wrestler ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper

The Los Angeles City Attorney has decided to file charges against former wrestling great ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper, 55, for driving while under the influence earlier this month.TMZ reported that Piper was charged with one count of driving with a valid license and one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence after a July 2 late night arrest in Hollywood.
If Piper is convicted, he faces 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. A hearing in the case is scheduled for Thursday.
